Education Against All Odds
While living in difficult conditions, Abdalla teaches himself English using donated books. He studies under whatever light is available, determined to get an education despite the circumstances.
Resettlement & Education
Abdalla gets resettled in a new country and immediately focuses on his education. He completes high school while working part-time jobs, becoming the first in his family to graduate high school.
Higher Education & Leadership
Abdalla pursues higher education while simultaneously helping other Somali youth access educational opportunities. He becomes a respected voice in the diaspora community.
Diaspora Leadership
As a recognized diaspora leader, Abdalla helps hundreds of Somali youth get access to education through mentorship programs, tutoring, and educational guidance.
Return to Somalia & Impact
Abdalla returns to Somalia and establishes multiple training centers across the country. These centers focus on vocational training, technology skills, and entrepreneurship for Somali youth.
